Headway-Natal held a farewell tea for one of their long standing volunteers Marlene Smith. Marlene volunteered with Headway for and incredible 31 years. Marlene (pictured below with Headway-Natal Manager Colleen Marais) began her work with Headway in the Pinetown location. Marlene then continued to volunteer with Headway-Natal (Westville office) working in their Charity Shop.
The farewell Tea was well attended by Headway members, staff and volunteers. In addition to these attendees Marlene’s daughter (Glenda) her sister (Lorraine) and Esme Forrester also attended the farewell. Esme Forrester volunteered alongside Marlene in the Headway-Natal Chartiy shop. Marlene will be greatly missed by the Headway-Natal members, staff and volunteers!
