Headway-Natal members had a splashing good time at the annual gala at the Westville Swimming Pool. The event was first held in 2010 and Myra Bailey, a physiotherapist at the non-profit organization, arranged this year’s gala.

“We had 27 members taking part. It was a fun-filled day, well supported by families and friends,” said Headway-Natal’s manager Colleen Marais.

Participants are entered into events based on their abilities and this is determined by the organization’s physiotherapists. “It was inspiring to see the competitiveness and camaraderie among the members,” said Colleen.
Times are recorded for each participant and are compared to the previous year’s results.
“Headway would like to thank the staff of Westville Swimming Pool for assisting us with hosting this annual event,” said Colleen.
