The Headway-Natal opened it’s doors in 1998 when Aubrey Marrs started Headway in KZN with the purchase of the now Headway-Natal house in Westville. The Headway-Natal charity shop started off small and has since grown into a shop now open Monday to Friday 9:00am to 1:00pm. The shop is run by volunteers who dedicate their time (on a daily basis) sorting donated goods, pricing goods and ensuring the shop has a cashier and and staff on hand for the purchase of goods.

So what can you find in the Headway-Natal charity shop? Many many items can be found including clothing, cards, kitchen items, antiques, holiday items, jewelry, CDs, DVDs and much much more. Some of the goods have been hand made by the Headway patients, carers and volunteers. These items include jewelry, Christmas decorations, wreaths, baked goods, and jams / relish to name a few.

The Headway-Natal charity shop can be found in Westville at 1 Menston Road. The charity shop is open Monday to Thursday from 9:00am – 1:00pm (09:00 – 13:00).
Funds raised with the sale of goods through the Headway-Natal charity shop go towards purchasing of new equipment and maintenance of Headway-Natal’s Westville facility.
